Concord is an amazing place to live, but we're all here today thanks to Mom. Paraphrasing my friend and podcaster Gracie Gato: your mom is your first address.

I want to recognize Concord's incredible mothers, past and present, who have and do work so hard in and for our community. We are a beautiful city because of your dedication.

In that fierce protective spirit of motherhood, I'm reaching out to all moms and everyone who cares about our incredible city. We are beginning budget season and will be making decisions on what is necessary for our community to grow and flourish, and what can be cut to reduce the tax burden. Weigh in.

The proposed budget is available HERE. Appendix H, starting on page 590, is the budget detail. Read through and please let me know what you think is necessary and what is not.
