Items of Note for Monday’s, December 9th City Council Meeting:
Public hearing on the accepting $500,000 on a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant towards a new skatepark at Everett Arena. The Grant has a 50/50 match requirement and the City will be working with the nonprofit Concord Skatepark Association and community partners to help raise the match requirement. There will be no construction until all matching dollars are received. Report
Public hearing on $405,000 for police officer retention and retroactive overtime wage payments. The Department is down 21% in staffing; these funds continue a temporary stopgap measure for future employee loss. Report
