Transportation Policy Advisory Committee, January 23, 6pm, 2nd flr conference room, City Hall, 41 Green Street
Projects I am following closely:
Middle School Project - the last Joint meeting between the School Board and City Council was June 2024. Councilors requested a presentation of the Project, which has yet to happen. The School Board is hosting a Special Meeting on January 15th to discuss costs and timelines, but will not include accurate infrastructure costs or the City's opinion of the Project because there has been no presentation to the Planning Board either.
Beaver Meadow Golf Course Clubhouse - the Ad Hoc Building Committee recommended building a new $8+ Million clubhouse more than twice as large as the current building to be funded by taxpayers. The golf course has not been self-supporting for decades, though the Golf Advisory Committee regularly makes recommendations for lower rates for golfers and pricier improvements for taxpayers to fund.
